Job Description:

We are looking for a Logistics Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mokena, Illinois. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient handling of products and materials within our plastics manufacturing facility. This position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibility:

Assist team members with moving and organizing products and materials around the facility
Perform tasks such as cleaning, picking, and flipping fabric as needed
Install grommets and wrap products in plastic for shipment
Follow verbal instructions accurately to complete assigned duties
Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain workflow and achieve production goals
Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily activities
Stand, walk, and navigate the manufacturing plant for up to 8 hours per shift
Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe boots while on-site

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics or production-related role
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Physical capability to stand, walk, and maneuver for extended periods
Familiarity with basic manufacturing or logistics tasks, such as wrapping and fabric handling
Comfortable following verbal instructions with precision
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Steel-toe boots required for safety compliance
