Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk with a focus on receiving to join our team in South OKC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization. The Logistics Clerk will play a key role in ensuring incoming shipments are received, verified, and processed efficiently.

Job Responsibility

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Verify packing slips against purchase orders and report discrepancies
  • Accurately enter receiving data into internal systems
  • Organize and stage materials for proper storage or distribution
  • Maintain clean and organized receiving and warehouse areas
  • Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams as needed
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to work 100% onsite in South OKC
  • Reliable transportation required

  • Manage transportation schedules by confirming appointments and sharing shipment details with both internal teams and external partners
  • Welcome inbound and outbound drivers, direct them to the appropriate dock locations, and support efficient yard and dock flow
  • Partner with warehouse staff to confirm the correct products are loaded onto the assigned trailers before departure
  • Review shipment paperwork for completeness and accuracy and confirm freight details match the load being dispatched
  • Complete driver check-out procedures and ensure all required documents are finalized before release
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute shipping packets, including printing and assembling necessary documentation
  • Digitally scan and file Bills of Lading and related records to maintain organized electronic documentation
  • Send Advance Ship Notices to customers and retail partners and respond to shipment-related questions or issues as they arise
  • Work closely with dispatchers, transportation contacts, warehouse leadership, loaders, and customer service teams to resolve delivery or scheduling concerns and keep operations on track
