Job Description:

As a Logistics Chargehand for Compounds Routine & Reactive, you will be responsible in ensuring that works are completed and documentation is recorded accurately and timely. You will be reporting to the Logistics Manager Routine and Reactive and your main role will be to supervise operatives ensuring they are working safely in line with RAMS, DABS and HPC processes. This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with blue and white collar workforce.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise operatives ensuring they are working safely in line with RAMS, DABS and HPC processes
  • Deliver familiarisation and competency training, and keep records for audit purposes
  • Ensure all designated working areas are set up correctly, and kept organised, clean, tidy and free from obstruction
  • Carry out quality checks on works carried out by the operatives
  • Provide support from an operational perspective when required

Requirements:

  • CITB Supervisory H&S test (must be completed before start date)
  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • SSSTS or working towards
  • Good IT skills
  • Must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols
  • Must be able to obtain the HPC pass
