Job Description

Meta is seeking an experienced Logistics Capacity Program Manager to join Reality Lab's Global Logistics team. This role is responsible for building and executing a comprehensive network capacity plan for all fulfillment and transportation nodes across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have experience driving both short-term (0–13 weeks) and long-term (1–3 years) capacity planning, ensuring Meta's logistics network is optimized to meet business needs and growth targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain global network capacity plans for fulfillment and transportation nodes, covering both short-term (0–13 weeks) and long-term (1–3 years) horizons
  • Analyze demand and supply trends to proactively identify capacity constraints and opportunities across the logistics network
  • Optimize storage costs by analyzing inventory levels, warehouse utilization, and implementing strategies to reduce excess storage and improve space efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, operations, engineering, and finance, to identify and execute initiatives that drive down overall fulfillment costs
  • Lead data inspection to uncover insights, drive root cause analysis, and inform decision-making for network optimization and cost management
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to automate, forecast, and optimize capacity planning and cost control processes
  • Present recommendations and findings to executive leadership and stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions with a focus on both capacity and cost outcomes
  • Continuously improve planning tools, models, and processes to enhance accuracy, scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or capacity planning roles, with a proven track record of managing complex, global networks
  • Demonstrated experience in short-term and long-term capacity planning
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to perform extensive data analysis and translate findings into actionable strategies
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel) and experience with forecasting/modeling techniques
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
