Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Logistics Assistant to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing the management of fleet vehicles including tax, MOTs, services, general upkeep, and bookings
Checking and signing off carrier invoices and packaging invoices
Reporting on loss and damage claims with carriers
Working with the Logistics Director on administration of the fleet, including the registering of vehicles, running mileage reports, ensuring insurance, breakdown cover, and trackers are all in place
Deal with escalation emails from Sales where particular deliveries have been a problem by liaising with key contacts at the carrier
Requirements:
You must be reliable and flexible in your approach to work
Numerate and literate, with good attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to work well in small teams
