This hightech marketleader with an office in Barendrecht is currently seeking for a Logistics Assistant or Shipping Agent to join their team. Voor een internationaal bedrijf in zeer geavanceerde producten zoeken wij ondersteuning in het logistieke proces! The logistics assistant works in the area of shipping and receiving, and supports the Logistics Manager in all aspects of warehouse operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Arrange Outgoing Shipments, from preparing packing lists to physically packaging outgoing material
  • Be involved throughout the shipping process
  • Review and compare transportation costs from different vendors, ensure that the outgoing shipment is accurate and well packaged, track shipments and ensure delivery
  • Process Incoming Shipments
  • Receive incoming materials, compare what has been shipped with the shipment order, ensure that the materials are in good condition, stock the materials in the warehouse and file all corresponding documentation
  • Manage Warehouse Inventory
  • Conduct a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly inventory of supplies and places orders with vendors as needed

Requirements:

  • Good level of English (written and speaking)
  • Dutch language helpful
  • Self-active and wants to get the job done
  • Hard working and secure
  • Some experience in logistics (by work or education)
