Join our team as a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator at NP Aerospace. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with education and/or experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment supporting defence protection systems. You will also support warehouse activities (receiving, put-away, picking, packaging, and shipping), including maintaining shipping registers and documentation. Using our ERP and internal tracking tools, you’ll create/manage work orders as needed, perform cycle counts and assist with annual inventory reconciliation, and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying root causes for inventory variances (RCCA) and recommending practical process fixes. In this new role, you will help ensure production has the right materials at the right time by supporting end-to-end procurement and day-to-day material flow—raising requisitions, placing and expediting purchase orders, coordinating inbound deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You’ll work closely with the Logistics & Supply Chain Lead, Production Lead, Engineering, Quality, and external suppliers to resolve supply issues quickly and keep schedules on track.
Job Responsibility:
Perform general procurement duties, including processing requisitions, and ensuring timely and accurate issuance
Provide day-to-day procurement support to the team and wider business
Ensure the timely supply of materials in line with production requirements and business deliverables
Create and manage work orders as needed
Perform cycle counts as needed and help in the yearly inventory reconciliation
Perform RCCA on inventory misses to determine best practices
Place purchase order requisitions and manage the first level expediting process
Assist with warehouse management in collaboration with the Production Lead, including receiving, storing, and picking products
Monitor and update shipping registers and assist with packaging and preparing goods for delivery
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent (diploma and/or relevant experience) in supply chain management, logistics, materials management, or a related field
1–3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control techniques, and warehouse management best practices
Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Obtained or the ability to obtain Reliability security clearance
Experience of using AI tools or demonstrates a willingness to learn and apply AI in role
Nice to have:
Comprehensive Microsoft Office skills
Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication, collaborative and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
