Job Description

The Logistics Agent – Shipping & Receiving is responsible for managing the day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring the accurate handling of equipment, parts, and supplies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving logistical discrepancies, and ensuring warehouse organization and safety.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage daily shipping and receiving activities for equipment, parts, and supplies
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with the annual physical inventory process
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely transactions in inventory management systems
  • Monitor and resolve logistics-related issues, including purchase order (PO), return merchandise authorization (RMA), and return to vendor (RTV) discrepancies
  • Coordinate manual work orders (MWOs) and follow through on completion
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that complies with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee and respond to communications through logistics-related mailboxes and platforms, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination
  • Operate a forklift or other powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics, shipping, or warehouse environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and shipping/receiving procedures
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems is an asset
  • Ability to lift and move packages/equipment as required
  • Must be fluent in communicate with English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
