The Logistics Agent – Shipping & Receiving is responsible for managing the day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring the accurate handling of equipment, parts, and supplies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving logistical discrepancies, and ensuring warehouse organization and safety.
Job Responsibility
Manage daily shipping and receiving activities for equipment, parts, and supplies
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with the annual physical inventory process
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely transactions in inventory management systems
Monitor and resolve logistics-related issues, including purchase order (PO), return merchandise authorization (RMA), and return to vendor (RTV) discrepancies
Coordinate manual work orders (MWOs) and follow through on completion
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that complies with health and safety regulations
Oversee and respond to communications through logistics-related mailboxes and platforms, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination
Operate a forklift or other powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain is an asset
Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics, shipping, or warehouse environment
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and shipping/receiving procedures
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems is an asset
Ability to lift and move packages/equipment as required
Must be fluent in communicate with English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
