We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation in Abingdon on a 6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with logistics or warehouse experience to join a well-established business and provide vital support to the logistics team.
Job Responsibility
Provide day-to-day administrative support within the logistics department
Process and maintain accurate information using SAP
Support warehouse and logistics operations through effective administration and coordination
Manage logistics documentation and update internal systems
Liaise with internal departments, customers, transport providers and warehouse personnel
Handle email correspondence and team communications using Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Produce and update reports using Microsoft Excel
Ensure records are accurate and maintained in line with company procedures
Requirements
Previous administration experience within a logistics, warehouse or supply chain environment
SAP knowledge (P40 experience advantageous)
Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Excel
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Nice to have
Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience
Experience within a manufacturing, distribution or warehouse environment
