As a Logistics Account Executive, you will be the driving force behind our company’s growth. This is a full-cycle sales role where you are responsible for identifying prospects, pitching 3PL services, and managing the end-to-end transportation needs of your clients or overseeing the account manager hired to support you! You’ll act as the bridge between shippers and our carrier network, ensuring that every load is delivered efficiently and profitably.
Job Responsibility:
Business Development: Actively prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, and lead generation to build a robust sales pipeline
Account Management: Manage and grow a book of business by building deep, long-term relationships with shipping managers and executives
Negotiation: Negotiate market-competitive rates with both customers (shippers) and carriers to maximize margins
Operations Oversight: Collaborate with the operations/tracking team to ensure high-quality service and real-time updates for your clients
Problem Solving: Proactively resolve logistical challenges—such as weather delays or equipment failures—to maintain customer trust
Requirements:
2-3 years of Sales within the Transportation Industry, Freight Forwarding or 3PL with a proven book of business
Be self-managed and able to perform job requirements with a minimal amount of supervision
