Responsible for Logistics routine purchases such as coordinating RFQ, RFI, creating and managing purchase orders, perform business intelligence, cost breakdown development/assessment and dealing with strategic purchasing; Lead local and international suppliers relationship to create an environment which drives suppliers to execution excellence; Monitor key purchasing processes for capacity and demand, identify constraints, provide analysis and opportunities; Strong alignment and communication with stakeholders to understand their needs and create a collaboration environment to develop measurement and reporting mechanisms for appropriate metrics (KPIs, SLA’s, etc.) to be monitored; Continually drive improvement in performance of the suppliers, responsible for rolling out related change management initiatives; Local Regional and Global Procurement alignment regarding purchasing results and initiatives, promoting Benchmarking across the regions; Create and support budgetary matters regarding Logistics

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Economy, Administration or equivalent experience
  • Advanced English
  • Spanish (desirable)
  • Experience in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain
  • Budget management
  • Experience with contract managing
  • Experience with digital tools (Python, SQL, IA, etc ) will be considered as a plus

  • Source structured cabling materials, fibre and copper systems, racks, containment, fixings, patching components, labels and associated accessories in line with approved specifications
  • Generate RFQs, obtain competitive quotations, evaluate options and recommend best-value procurement decisions based on price, quality, lead time, compliance and service support
  • Create and maintain accurate material records, supplier pricing lists and purchase orders within the company system
  • Ensure all orders are raised correctly, approved in line with delegated authority requirements and placed within the required turnaround times to support project execution
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to ensure dependable service, strong support and alignment with project and business objectives
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, rebates, lead times, delivery commitments and payment arrangements to optimise total cost of ownership and protect project margins
  • Review and benchmark existing suppliers on cost competitiveness, quality, responsiveness, availability, reliability and overall performance
