As a Logistic Operations Team Leader, you will lead daily logistics activities in the store, ensuring efficient goods flow, high product availability and safe, cost-effective operations. You will coach and develop your team and create a positive, inclusive and safe working environment while keeping the customer in focus.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and support co-workers in the assigned logistics area to secure high product availability and smooth operations at the lowest possible cost
Recruit, onboard, develop and retain team members, building a strong and diverse team and supporting future succession
Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA standards, internal regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security and environment
Plan and coordinate daily operations, including people, shifts and equipment, to meet business needs and seasonal demands
Support the implementation of local business plans and projects and contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working
Create awareness within the team to prevent damages and improve quality in handling goods
Support sustainability initiatives within logistics operations in line with IKEA goals
Requirements:
At least 1–2 years of experience in leading people, with a proven ability to deliver results and develop teams
Experience in setting priorities, delegating tasks and giving clear, honest feedback
Good understanding of logistics or operational processes and how to work together with different stakeholders to achieve efficient execution
The ability to work in a fast-changing environment and handle the unexpected
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with different people in different situations
Basic understanding of budgets, costs and performance indicators and how to use them to plan and follow up the business
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using both Serbian and English, spoken and written
