Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Logistics Officer to join our Logistics team for our Chervena Project, near Pernik, Bulgaria. At METLEN Energy & Metals, we are catalysts for a sustainable future, positioned at the forefront of the energy transition while being a reference point for competitive green metallurgy at both the European and global levels.

Job Responsibility:

  • maintain accurate logistics documentation (invoices, shipping documents, delivery notes) and ensure records are up-to-date
  • track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any issues with suppliers, carriers, and customs
  • support inventory management, update records, and report discrepancies
  • assist in planning, optimizing logistics operations, and reducing costs
  • handle administrative tasks, such as phone calls, emails, and scheduling meetings
  • assist with purchase orders, stock management, and ensuring proper storage and movement

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
  • previous experience in logistics or supply chain is preferred but not required
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • proficient in Bulgarian and English
  • strong desire to learn and grow in the field
  • excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • high attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment

Nice to have:

  • additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • previous experience in logistics or supply chain
