Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Logistics Officer to join our Logistics team for our Chervena Project, near Pernik, Bulgaria. At METLEN Energy & Metals, we are catalysts for a sustainable future, positioned at the forefront of the energy transition while being a reference point for competitive green metallurgy at both the European and global levels.

Job Responsibility:

maintain accurate logistics documentation (invoices, shipping documents, delivery notes) and ensure records are up-to-date
track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any issues with suppliers, carriers, and customs
support inventory management, update records, and report discrepancies
assist in planning, optimizing logistics operations, and reducing costs
handle administrative tasks, such as phone calls, emails, and scheduling meetings
assist with purchase orders, stock management, and ensuring proper storage and movement

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
previous experience in logistics or supply chain is preferred but not required
proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
proficient in Bulgarian and English
strong desire to learn and grow in the field
excellent organizational and time-management skills
strong communication and interpersonal abilities
high attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment

Nice to have:

additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
previous experience in logistics or supply chain
