Job Description

As one of the key logistics technology providers in Taiwan, Uber Direct enables merchants to unlock last-mile delivery for their customers through their own apps or website marketplaces, while also supporting logistics businesses with a strong and resilient last-mile supply network. We are building an exciting team to scale Uber Direct’s logistics business across mid-mile, last-mile, and warehouse operations. We are looking for leaders who are passionate about operations excellence and delivering best-in-class experiences to our merchant partners. As the Logistic Network Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the Uber Direct logistics business. This role is responsible for the strategic expansion of the last-mile fleet and micro-hub network. You will work closely with operations teams, fleet partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to support business growth while ensuring delivery quality, reliability, and service-level excellence across all regions. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will partner closely with Sales and Account Management to assess expansion needs and co-develop scalable network expansion plans with the logistics project squad.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a scaled logistics operations organization, including city operations managers, site operations staff, fleet partners, and drivers
  • Recruit, develop, and grow a high-performing logistics network operations team in a scalable manner
  • Deliver against strategic goals related to operational efficiency, service quality, expansion milestones, and delivery performance
  • Drive the expansion and operational success of the micro-hub network, including Uber-owned facilities and merchant warehouses integrated with Uber delivery supply
  • Partner with regional merchant stakeholders to ensure strong operational execution and delivery customer experience
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs and site-level operating processes to support multiple delivery models
  • Scale last-mile delivery capabilities through close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain fleet partners across Taiwan to meet supply needs driven by business growth
  • Ensure rigorous control over delivery quality, fleet utilization, and SLA adherence for both fleet partners and Uber couriers

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total work experience
  • At least 5 years in logistics operations, strategic planning, partnership management, or people leadership
  • Hands-on experience managing fleet/delivery partners and warehouse operations
  • Deep understanding of Taiwan’s logistics industry, including key players, competitive dynamics, and ecosystem networks
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)

  • Own Direct to Consumer operational performance across order lifecycle (order release → pick/pack/ship → last mile → returns), including service, cost, and quality outcomes
  • Set and manage key performance indicators & yearly objective and key results(e.g., OTIF, ship-on-time, cycle time, cancellation rate, damages, returns processing time, cost per order) and lead business reviews with internal and external partners
