Job Description:

Join our team as a Band 8a Locum Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality care in a busy NHS hospital in Scotland. Responsibilities include providing clinical pharmacy services to surgical and medical wards, supporting safe and effective medicine use, performing accuracy checks in the dispensary, and collaborating with teams to enhance patient care. Accommodation is available on-site.

Job Responsibility:

  • provide clinical pharmacy services to surgical and medical wards
  • contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines
  • support the dispensary with screening and final accuracy checks
  • work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
  • ensure accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

  • a current and valid GPhC registration
  • previous hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in ward and dispensary settings
  • excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
