Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a 13 week locum Electrophysiology Physician job in Flagstaff, Arizona, paying $325/hr - $400/hr. Apply today.

Job Responsibility:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with electrical abnormalities of the heart, such as arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation
  • Perform electrophysiology studies (EPS), catheter ablations and device implantations like pacemakers and defibrillators
  • Manage patients with implantable cardiac devices, including routine follow-ups and troubleshooting device malfunctions
  • Work closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient care
  • Provide emergency care for patients experiencing life-threatening arrhythmias
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements:

  • Certifications: ACLS
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Completion of a fellowship in cardiology, with a subspecialty fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology
  • Board certification in cardiovascular disease with additional certification in clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Arizona
  • Experience: 1 year
