Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lockbox Processing Associate to support high-volume remittance and payment operations. This role is responsible for extracting mail contents, processing payments, negotiating checks, and preparing output in strict accordance with client specifications and established turnaround times. This position operates in a deadline-driven production environment and requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong attention to detail. You will work under direct supervision with structured workflow guidance while contributing to overall departmental productivity standards. Job Responsibility

  • Operate mail extraction equipment to open and process incoming lockbox payments
  • Review and process checks and remittance documents based on specific customer requirements
  • Perform manual and automated sorting according to client instructions
  • Stage work accurately and in a presentable format for downstream capture
  • Ensure documents are “clean” and prepared for imaging or data capture
  • Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards
  • Cross-train to support all functional areas within the Lockbox department
  • Support additional Lockbox modules including RDE, Scanning, Mail Distribution, and Validations
  • Assist with other departmental tasks assigned to ensure daily operational completion
