Our Calgary team is growing, and we are seeking a Location Manager to provide on-site location leadership with a keen interest in business development focusing on delivering carbon management solutions to western Canada.

Job Responsibility

  • Report to the Responsible Business Development function within Aker Solutions' New Energies and Life Cycle segments
  • Manage and strengthen established local partnerships, ensuring effective day-to-day collaboration
  • Provide leadership at the location level for assigned personnel, in close coordination with Aker Solutions' technical and functional leadership teams
  • Drive in-market business development through proactive engagement with clients and strategic partners
  • Stewarding to Aker Solutions' business development and tendering governance processes, leveraging relevant sales tools, technologies, and support systems
  • Develop a comprehensive market engagement plan, including associated budgeting, for review and approval
  • Execute the approved market engagement strategy, coordinating internal resources and external partners as required
  • Maintain regular and transparent communication with key stakeholders regarding location opportunities, performance, and challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a Leadership role with a passion for developing and generating business
  • Established industry network in western Canada with particular focus on industrial emitters and emission reduction sub-industry
  • Experience with partner-powered delivery models and management of related interfaces
  • Experience with management and integration of licensed technology into complete industrial process solutions
  • Contractual and commercial skillset and with specific knowledge of the Alberta region
  • Documented management experience from Pre-FEED, FEED's and Detail engineering

Nice to have

Experience from different type of industry and projects such as pulp and paper, power grids, CCS, and brownfield modification
