Job Description:

We are looking for a localisation manager to lead our localisation efforts to help us create thousands of videos and exercises in vernacular languages, that serve millions of learners throughout the country, with the support of our talented in-house language experts and state-appointed resource groups.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead Localization Quality
  • Coach in-house localization experts
  • Ensure timely, high-quality content delivery
  • Collaborate with state leadership to develop project plans
  • Partner with the content team to establish guidelines for creating easily localizable English content
  • Establish a robust feedback loop with state teachers
  • Collaborate with the in-house tech team to ensure seamless execution of localization projects
  • Collaborate with the international team to exchange insights
  • Effectively manage short-term tasks while contributing to the long-term strategic goals
  • Ability to travel as required

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of work experience
  • Prior experience as an educator highly valued
  • Fluent in Telugu (reading and writing)
  • Proven project manager with a strong track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion
  • Skilled people manager adept at working with multiple teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Multilingualism is a significant advantage
  • Capacity for quickly understanding and mastering new challenges
