Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting role is a senior analyst position within the Controllers Organization that involves working with Finance reporting teams and the Technology department on automation, preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reports based on U.S. and local regulatory reporting rules. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments and exposure to international stakeholders. The position also involves maintaining and developing data sources for local regulatory reporting needs while ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Understand data requirements and challenges from reporting teams
  • Analyse data needs and identify data sources & assist in the transition from legacy to standard data
  • Work with Chief Data Office to register reporting attributes as Critical Data Elements
  • Investigate and escalate data quality issues using Citi's IMR process
  • Create and analyse data workflows to provide high quality data to regulatory reporting users
  • Facilitate constructive dialogue between multiple departments at global, regional and country level at various levels of seniority to provide effective solutions to meet strategic data goals
  • Liaise with Technology teams to ensure requirements mean the same for everyone on data processes and structures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in data management, financial/management/risk reporting or system implementation roles
  • Familiarity with advanced data integration/transformation workflow tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx, Talend, Dataiku, Python etc) is an advantage
  • Experience with project end-to-end management is preferred (from Business Analysis point of view)
  • Technology aptitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change
  • Express a collaborative and motivating attitude
  • Organized personality, attention to detail and independent working style

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with advanced data integration/transformation workflow tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx, Talend, Dataiku, Python etc)
  • Experience with project end-to-end management is preferred (from Business Analysis point of view)
