Local People & Culture Business Partner role at IKEA Roma supporting managers and co-workers in implementing people strategies, ensuring excellent co-worker experience, and driving people-related initiatives in an innovative 'City' context.
Job Responsibility:
Support unit managers and all People managers in the store to implement tactics related to People agenda topics
Be part of a City People & Culture Team driving topics from People agenda for all Customer meeting points of IKEA Roma ecosystem
Support co-workers to deliver their results and create excellent customer experience
Provide people subject matter expertise, process people operations matters and ensure localized people strategies are implemented effectively
Contribute to constructive cooperation with workers council/unions where applicable
Execute all operational People tasks at unit level to deliver excellent co-worker experience
Support building local business competence & performance working on relevant People goals
Ensure recruitment and on-boarding of the right talents with the right contracts
Ensure and execute delivery of learning & training at unit level
Secure engagement and retention by understanding conditions of co-workers
Implement Health and Wellbeing initiatives at unit level
Support staff costs
Ensure local employer communication is consistent and builds on IKEA brand
Implement co-worker relations plan that manages local interactions with co-workers and unions
Requirements:
Experience in People & Culture/HR area
Experience in trade union management, people planning, HR administration
Motivated to work in a new and innovative context characterized by 'City' logic
Passionate about people with strong belief in individuals' potential
Positive attitude and open-minded approach
Ability to lead business through people
Applying strategical, tactical and operational thinking
Passion to create a people-oriented working environment
Accomplishes goals, completes tasks, and achieves results
Ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility, but also a team-player
Expresses ideas and opinions effectively in verbal and written communication
Interacts and engages naturally with both managers and non-managers
Ambitious and willing to grow professionally
Fluent level of English and Italian languages
Nice to have:
