The Local Marketing Coordinator supports the planning and execution of local and store-level marketing initiatives that drive store traffic and sales. This role serves as an executional partner to field leadership and marketing teams, ensuring national strategies are activated locally through media, signage, events, and partnerships. The Coordinator will manage local marketing logistics, vendor coordination, and field enablement while maintaining brand standards and operational discipline.
Job Responsibility:
Support the implementation of local marketing plans across assigned markets and stores
Support planning and execution of marketing activations for local events
Coordinate event toolkits, calendars, and local marketing materials for store teams
Manage day-to-day activities related to in-store signage planning and execution
Coordinate development and distribution of in-store signage, POS materials, and promotional assets
Support store teams with signage guidelines, FAQs, and troubleshooting
Assist with managing and cultivating local sponsorships and community partnerships
Collaborate with Retail Operations to communicate marketing activities and ensure a steady feedback loop to inform and revise execution
Assist with the execution of marketing activities related to store openings and closings, partnering with internal and external stakeholders
Respond to store questions via The Huddle and email, while working directly with the DVPs, Regional Managers and Store Managers to ensure timely communication on marketing tactics, events and promotions
Assist in the execution of local media efforts, including radio, OOH, and in-mall placements
Support marketing budget activities and efforts
Assist with coding invoices appropriately to AP and reconciling actuals and accruals to monthly budgets
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or business with strong analytic and quantitative skills
Three years of experience in retail or consumer marketing preferred, including advertising, promotions, CRM, and digital, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Light travel around 10% will be required
Occasionally night and weekend required
Comprehensive project management skills, good decision-making skills, and attention to detail
Preferred experience with Workfront
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities
Proven ability to communicate with influence at all levels
Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal departments and external partners
Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers
