This is an exciting opportunity to join Haringey and play a pivotal role in delivering our ambitious Inclusive Growth agenda. As Local Economy Manager (12‑month fixed term maternity cover), you will lead the development and implementation of Haringey’s new Inclusive Growth Plan, ensuring that growth across the borough benefits local businesses and residents. You will oversee the delivery of strategies that strengthen the local economy, attract investment, and foster place‑making, while prioritising long‑term economic, social, and environmental outcomes. Working closely with our business community, you will drive strategic engagement and ensure that the social value secured through planning and procurement processes is maximised for the benefit of Haringey’s residents and enterprises

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Haringey’s new Inclusive Growth Plan
  • Ensure that growth across the borough benefits local businesses and residents
  • Oversee the delivery of strategies that strengthen the local economy, attract investment, and foster place‑making

Requirements:
