Job Description

The driver will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of goods from various customers in the Granby region, the Greater Montreal area, and the Eastern Townships. The day starts and ends at our parking lot located in Granby.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver and pick up goods from various customers within the assigned territory
  • Assist, when needed, with loading or unloading goods manually or with equipment (pallet jack)
  • Secure goods using straps and logistic bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
  • Ensure that deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that goods are not damaged
  • Use the mobile device to obtain and communicate all required information related to pickups and deliveries
  • Complete the daily inspection report following truck checks and when any anomaly is detected during the trip
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s licence
  • M endorsement (an asset)
  • T endorsement (an asset)
  • Flatbed experience (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
