Job Description

The driver will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of goods for various customers in the Drummondville region and surrounding areas. Daily departure and return are from our Drummondville terminal.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform delivery and pickup of goods for various customers within the assigned territory
  • Assist, as needed, with loading and unloading merchandise manually or using equipment (pallet jack)
  • Secure loads using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
  • Ensure deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that goods are not damaged
  • Use a mobile device to receive and transmit information related to deliveries and pickups
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports following truck checks and report any anomalies detected during a trip
  • Perform any other related tasks as required

Requirements

  • Hold a Class 1 FM driver’s license
  • Experience with flatbed deliveries and pickups, ensuring loads are properly secured in compliance with safety regulations
  • Demonstrate autonomy
  • Strong organizational skills
