Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a Local Business Development Manager to join our team at Vertu Peugeot Exeter. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll use your prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills to promote our brand to the local business community and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact and grow with a leading motor retailer.

Job Responsibility

  • Grow and develop our Corporate and Local Business database
  • Sell cars and associated packages to the business community, including Contract Hire, Leasing, and outright purchase options
  • Build strong relationships with new prospects and maintain existing customers by managing renewals
  • Consistently achieve new car and commercial vehicle sales targets, as well as franchise KPIs
  • Drive aftersales growth through increased corporate vehicle volumes
  • Meet monthly fleet department registration targets and brand performance indicators

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales and performance
  • Confidence, resilience, energy, and drive to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • A clean driving licence
  • FCA approval (or willingness to be trained)
