Job Description

The Lobby host greets and facilitates the customer experience by maintaining an efficient customer flow and informing customers of menu options, the latest promotion offerings, and communicating feedback from customers, and informing staff of menu or operational changes. The purpose of the role is to ensure the tables and seating area are clean and free from spillages, bins are emptied, floors are clean and dry, and all public areas and toilets are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Being helpful and friendly, assisting with buggies, wheelchairs, or trays
  • Give creative suggestions regarding our food menus
  • Make sure the lobby and toilets are kept clean throughout the store
  • Ensure the lobby and serving areas are properly set up and stocked, clean and tidy
  • Ensure tables are cleared immediately, and spillages are dealt with in a timely fashion
  • Communicate with all customers to ensure quality satisfaction
  • Respond to customer complaints and bring any issues to the attention of the duty Manager
  • Communicate with Management and staff to ensure effective customer flow
  • Provide a clean area to customers (clean tables and floors, baby chairs, bins emptied, toilets presentable and stocked)

Requirements

  • Previous customer service in the hospitality environment preferred
  • Interpersonal skills
  • The ability to recognise problems and potential conflicts with both customers and staff
  • Product Knowledge

  • Analytical Skills, i.e. the ability to think logically
  • Time Management skills
  • Must have the legal right to work in Ireland
