Job Description

As the Lobby Bar & Wagon Bar Manager, you will lead with excellence in a fast-paced, luxurious environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing the team, operations, and profitability of the bar.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a passionate, service-oriented team
  • Recruit, onboard, and continuously train team members to deliver outstanding service
  • Efficiently schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours
  • Deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience by anticipating and exceeding guest needs
  • Engage with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Maintain a unique and immersive atmosphere by managing ambiance, music, and presentation
  • Oversee daily operations including inventory management, product quality, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent service quality
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure ingredient quality and menu consistency
  • Achieve and exceed financial targets through effective cost control and sales strategies
  • Analyze financial reports to identify improvement opportunities and adjust operations accordingly
  • Explore new revenue streams such as private events and partnerships
  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously enhance the bar’s offerings and guest experience
  • Introduce creative ideas to improve operations and overall bar vibe

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a bar or restaurant, preferably within a luxury hotel setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
  • additional languages are a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and keen attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service
