You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Germany as Loan Syndication Analyst. As part of one of the bank’s distribution platforms in Continental Europe, the successful candidate will support the structuring, syndication, and placement of a wide range of debt transactions including Schuldschein, Corporate Acquisition Finance, Rail Finance, Project Finance, and ECA-covered financing. This role offers strong exposure to the EMEA loan market, institutional investors, and complex cross-border financings. It combines strategic execution responsibilities with direct interaction across Crédit Agricole CIB’s origination, credit, and trading teams globally.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the structuring and syndication of primary and secondary loan transactions with a focus on German-speaking countries
Support in the preparation of syndication opinions, update comparable transactions table and produce closing memos in a timely manner
Assist with various PowerPoint presentations – pitches and market updates
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Coverage, DCM, ERA and CLF Origination, Risk…) to ensure smooth and timely execution
Support the negotiation of legal documentation with external and internal counsel
Maintain internal databases and transaction records and ensure updates in systems
Assist in the preparation of post-deal deliverables: fee memos, closing memos
Help manage and develop relationships with the investor base, especially with a focus on non-bank investors, and exploring new opportunities
Participate in investor outreach, sales calls, and market updates
Monitor investor appetite and provide feedback on pricing and liquidity trends
Prepare various documents searched out of different databases (LoanConnector, Dealogic, Bloomberg) and use Debtdomain as well as other electronic platforms when inviting banks into a transaction or for research purposes
Coordinate with the Secondary Loan Trading (SLT) on portfolio trades and asset rotation strategies
Review documentation for transferability and confidentiality provisions relevant to distribution
Requirements:
Postgraduate in economics/finance or equivalent from an University, a Business School or an Engineering School
First experiences in corporate and structured finance / asset based landing
Strong interest in gaining Know how in distribution
