About World Business Lenders (www.wbl.com) World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. The working hours for this role will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. You must be comfortable working with productivity monitoring systems Resumes must be submitted in English. About the job We’re looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our Loan Sales team. This role is ideal for self-starters who thrive in commission-based environments and are comfortable managing a full sales cycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Sales Execution & Growth: Generate and close loan opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, and relationship building while meeting monthly and quarterly funding targets
  • Lead Management & Prospecting: Actively prospect via outbound calling and follow-ups, managing inbound and outbound leads in high-rejection, long-cycle sales environments
  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Own the sales process from initial contact through funding, including documentation collection and coordination with underwriting and operations
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain long-term relationships with borrowers, brokers, real estate investors, and referral partners to drive repeat business
  • Product Knowledge & Deal Structuring: Learn and apply private lending products, guidelines, and deal fundamentals (LTV, ARV, collateral-based lending) to confidently sell value beyond pricing
  • Pipeline Management & Reporting: Maintain an organized pipeline, track activity and performance metrics, and ensure disciplined follow-up throughout the sales cycle
  • Professional Standards & Growth: Represent the company professionally and ethically while continuously improving performance through coaching, feedback, and self-development

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Formal education may be substituted with proven sales experience
  • 1–5+ years of sales experience (mortgage, real estate, financial services, or other commission-based sales)
  • Prior experience in private lending is a plus but not required
  • Proven ability to sell independently and manage a full sales cycle
  • Comfortable working in performance-based / commission-driven roles
  • Requires a resilient, patient sales professional comfortable with frequent rejection and longer sales timelines
  • CRM usage (or willingness to adopt one quickly)
  • Skilled in composing professional emails, initiating cold calls, and conducting follow-up communications
  • Microsoft Office / Google Workspace proficiency
  • Excellent oral and written command of the English language
  • Comfortable working with productivity monitoring systems

Nice to have:

Prior experience in private lending is a plus but not required
