Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank is seeking a Loan Sales Associate to join its EMEA Loan Sales team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded and commercially driven individual to gain broad exposure to primary and secondary loan markets within a highly collaborative sales environment. Working closely with senior sales professionals, syndicate teams, traders and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the distribution and marketing of loan products to a diversified institutional investor base.
Job Responsibility
Supporting the sales desk in the execution of primary and secondary loan distribution, including post-trade follow-up and settlement support
Assisting with the preparation of liquidity analysis, market updates and investor feedback reports for primary syndications
Coordinating and consolidating investor feedback and managing Q&A processes alongside syndicate teams
Producing market analysis and internal commentary on investor behaviour, fund flows and broader market developments
Monitoring CLO, warehouse and secondary market activity, including selected secondary levels and targeted loan opportunities
Maintaining and enhancing investor activity databases, tracking trades and logging sales activity
Actively marketing primary and secondary loan opportunities to a portfolio of institutional investors and maintaining ongoing dialogue
Supporting business development initiatives by identifying and engaging potential new investors
Participating in daily sales calls and contributing to weekly market discussions as required
Requirements
An undergraduate degree within a relevant discipline from a university specialising in finance, economics, business, mathematics or a related discipline
A postgraduate qualification or MBA is advantageous but not essential
Evidence of a strong academic record and intellectual curiosity
Prior experience within banking, financial services or capital markets
Exposure to credit, leveraged finance, loan markets, syndication, sales or trading is highly beneficial
Experience supporting senior stakeholders and operating in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and research capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
Financial modelling skills are an advantage
Experience with Bloomberg, Debtdomain or similar platforms beneficial
Fluent written and spoken English essential, French or another European language an advantage
Nice to have
