We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to support consumer lending operations in Edwardsville, Illinois. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer service with accurate administrative work in a banking environment. In this role, you will help move dealer-submitted loan applications through the funding process, maintain clear records, and communicate professionally with dealers and members. The position requires strong organization, careful document review, and the ability to handle a steady flow of loan-related tasks with accuracy.
Job Responsibility
Review incoming dealer and consumer loan documents, confirm all required information is present, and enter complete application details into the lending system to support prompt funding
Contact dealers or members by phone or email when additional documentation or clarification is needed to keep loan files moving forward
Examine loan packages for accuracy and completeness, including payment details, supporting documents, and checklist items before processing
Record updates, progress notes, and key status information within the loan system so files remain current and traceable
Prepare and manage administrative materials such as correspondence, denial notices, dealer packets, file maintenance records, and other general office documentation
Track dealer-related information, maintain organized records for new and existing dealer relationships, and assist with reserve verification activities
Process payoff-related items by confirming incoming checks from dealers and helping route them appropriately
Request titles from storage or file systems and assist with lien filing and lien release tasks as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service, loan processing, banking support, or a similar administrative role
Strong data entry skills with the ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment
Comfortable handling inbound and outbound communication with dealers, customers, and internal teams
Ability to review documents carefully and identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information
Proficiency with clerical and office support tasks, including recordkeeping, correspondence, and file organization
Clear and detail-oriented communication skills with a service-focused approach when assisting members and business partners
Strong time management and organizational abilities to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
