Job Responsibility

  • Serve as a dedicated Loan Processor for an assigned sales team
  • Partner closely with Loan Officers, Loan Partners, and Relationship Manager to support pipeline flow and deal execution
  • Support a consistent, high-quality borrower experience aligned with the sales team
  • Process loan application in accordance with company, note buyer, and regulatory guidelines
  • Order, track and review third-party documentation including appraisals, evaluations, title reports, verifications, and insurance
  • Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to underwriting submission
  • Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to resolve conditions and issues
  • Communicate proactively with borrowers regarding documentation requirements, conditions, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records in the loan origination system
  • Perform reviews for files before they're submitted to underwriting to ensure data is accurate and complete in the system and on any loan documents
  • Support audits, quality control reviews, and investor due diligence requests as needed
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and company mortgage lending regulations and policies applicable to business purpose loans

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years loan processing or operations experience
  • Superb customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of accuracy/attention to detail, immaculately organized
  • Ability to work well in a consistently fast-paced environment
  • Ability to react quickly to changing needs of clients and underwriting changes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional ability to work on multiple priorities
