We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor - Support to join a mortgage company in Meriden, Connecticut. This is a Contract position supporting the payoff department through accurate document handling, record maintenance, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a team-focused approach, and the ability to manage data with precision in an onsite environment.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain payoff-related files by organizing paperwork, scanning records, and ensuring documentation is stored accurately
Enter and update loan information in spreadsheets and internal records with a high level of accuracy
Provide administrative support to the payoff team by tracking documents and helping keep daily workflows on schedule
Review records for completeness and follow up on missing or unclear information as needed
Use Excel to manage data, prepare basic reports, and support department tracking needs
Partner with team members across the department to help maintain efficient processing and consistent file handling
Assist with routine mortgage support tasks connected to loan administration and payoff activities
Requirements:
Experience supporting mortgage, loan processing, or payoff-related operations
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately
Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with spreadsheets and data entry
Ability to scan, file, and organize documents in a fast-paced office setting
Collaborative work style and strong communication skills
Familiarity with loan administration, mortgage processing, or related lending functions
Availability to work onsite in Meriden, Connecticut
