Job Responsibility:
Manage mortgage loan files throughout the processing lifecycle, ensuring documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on schedule
Review incoming application materials and supporting records to confirm compliance with lending guidelines and internal standards
Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, closers, and other stakeholders to resolve file conditions and keep transactions moving forward
Track outstanding items, follow up on missing documentation, and maintain organized records within loan administration systems
Prepare and update loan information to support timely approvals, closing activities, and overall file readiness
Communicate status updates clearly to relevant parties and address processing questions in a detail-oriented, service-focused manner
Assist with closing-related documentation and final file reviews to help ensure a smooth transition to funding
Support operational updates within mortgage processing workflows when process or system changes affect active loan files
Requirements:
Experience working in mortgage processing, loan administration, or a closely related lending support role
Working knowledge of residential mortgage lending practices, documentation requirements, and closing processes
Ability to manage multiple loan files at once while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Strong understanding of loan origination and file progression from application through closing
Proficiency in reviewing financial and borrower documentation with careful attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across lending, underwriting, and closing teams
Comfortable using mortgage processing systems and standard office software in a fast-paced environment
