We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor - Support to join our team on a contract basis in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of loan applications within the financial services sector. This position requires strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of mortgage lending and loan administration processes.
Job Responsibility:
Review and verify loan application documentation for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with applicants, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and address any discrepancies
Manage the loan file from application to closing, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the loan origination system
Communicate with clients to provide updates on loan application status and resolve any inquiries
Assist in preparing loan closing documents and ensure all required materials are included
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve processing goals
Identify and escalate any potential issues or risks to appropriate parties
Stay updated on changes in mortgage lending guidelines and regulatory requirements
Support other loan processing activities as needed to ensure operational efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in loan administration, mortgage processing, or a related field
Strong knowledge of loan origination and mortgage lending processes
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial documentation
Proficiency in using loan processing software and other relevant tools
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
