Loan Processing Assistant

• assist with loan origination processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
• manage administrative tasks related to consumer, government, and mortgage loans
• review loan applications for compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
• facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processing
• maintain and update loan files and records in the system for accuracy and accessibility
• provide support in resolving discrepancies or issues related to loan applications
• monitor loan processing timelines to meet deadlines and enhance customer satisfaction
• collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to best practices and operational standards

• At least 1 year of experience in loan origination, administration, or a related field
• familiarity with consumer, government, and mortgage loan processes
• strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• proficiency in maintaining accurate records and managing loan documentation
• excellent communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders
• understanding of regulatory requirements related to loan processing
• experience in a credit union or financial institution is a plus
