Job Description

We are looking for a Loan Processing Analyst to join our dynamic finance consulting team in Greenwich, Connecticut. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development, with the potential to advance into underwriting roles. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze financial statements to assess loan eligibility and risk
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to gather necessary documentation from merchants
  • Match deals with suitable lenders and assist in setting up new transactions
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly
  • Perform credit checks and background evaluations for merchant applications
  • Work closely with banking partners to ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
  • Draft contracts for new deals and coordinate with underwriting teams for approval
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal funding requirements
  • Provide clear and thorough responses to client inquiries
  • Utilize Excel to manage and organize data efficiently

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Associate's degree accepted
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or loan processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data entry
  • Familiarity with loan products and commercial credit processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
