Job Responsibility

  • Support a team providing controls & issue governance across Lending Operations Asia
  • Correspondences and strategizing with partners & stakeholders in Asia
  • Involves performing controls definition, monitoring, & testing
  • Support internal & external reviews by reviewing & signing off associated deliverables
  • Keeping updated on policies and regulations & ensuring regional alignment
  • Involved in Lending Operations enterprise functions such as Continuity of Business & Records Management
  • Makes recommendations to management to support process improvement
  • Responsible to validate procedures, tools and training in the department to meet policy and provide control recommendations and ensure department process are align with global standard policies, procedures and tools
  • Ensuring that all critical functions are documented in the procedures, and that all controls are appropriately defined and implemented
  • Support Global Risk and Control team on all control related initiatives and other activities to ensure compliance with Citi policies and regulatory requirements
  • Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents
  • Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information and provides assistance in the implementation of loan documentation process improvements
  • Managing deliverables requests from regulators / auditors relating to quality assurance
  • Responsible in compiling, preparing and responding to findings raised during internal business reviews, audits, exams and MCA tests
  • Responsible in developing and deploying appropriate control monitoring mechanisms via Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/University degree
  • At least 4-5 year related experience in loan operations
  • Experience in loan operations, MCA controls & Audits
  • and Operation Risk Management is preferred
  • Individual must be accountable, ethical, results oriented, trustworthy, and credible
  • Ability to manage control practices demonstrating a risk-based approach
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work with various levels of management and build and maintain effective working relationships
