Team/Role Overview: The Loan Operations Team provide operational support for multiple Clients and business sectors across the UK/E/MEA region providing Loan Administration services for both syndicated and bilateral deals originated and captured within the region. The mission is to provide a high quality and consistent level of service to all entities throughout the life cycle of the loan.

Job Responsibility

  • Investigate and resolve cash exceptions and payable/receivable items
  • Escalate control gaps and issues to senior management
  • Build relationships throughout the business to establish a peer network
  • Resolve complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of loan procedures and industry standards
  • Seek to improve operational procedures and controls within the group. Identify weakness, articulate these, and suggest solutions
  • Support an expansive and/or diverse array of products (risk and control) /services
  • Follow established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing activities that require investigation or research and makes recommendations to management to support process improvement

Requirements

  • Advanced English Language skills both, written and spoken
  • 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Basic understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
  • Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
  • The jobholder will need to be flexible and able to deal with the ongoing changing needs of the Business in a positive way
  • Analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple projects, thereby defining problems and developing solutions

Nice to have

Knowledge and/or previous experience with Loan IQ will be an advantage
