Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Loan Closer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and compliant closing of single-family mortgage loans. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate the accurate and timely closing of single-family mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency guidelines
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare files for funding, prioritizing close of escrow deadlines
Prepare and issue Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and other required closing documents with precision
Manage the completion and accuracy of VA streamline, RD loans, and other specialized loan types for insuring purposes
Maintain excellent communication and relationships with lenders, brokers, Realtors, title companies, and other stakeholders
Address customer service needs promptly while adhering to all regulatory requirements throughout the loan closing process
Participate in individual and team training sessions to enhance skills and foster growth
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support the continuous improvement of departmental processes
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization and its objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage lending, processing, or closing, or equivalent experience in a Title Insurance company closing department
Strong knowledge of mortgage banking regulations, including familiarity with liens and other aspects of mortgage lending
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively correspond with stakeholders
Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under deadlines
Proficiency in computer systems and software for entering, accessing, and retrieving financial data
Demonstrated expertise in mortgage closing processes and tools such as Encompass
Customer service orientation with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
