Job Description:

We are seeking a Loads & Aeroelastics Engineer to join our team, responsible for delivering loads and aeroelastics solutions throughout the aircraft lifecycle, from development to in-service support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Modelling and simulating aircraft aerodynamics, inertia, flexibility, landing gear, control systems, and flight mechanics
  • Calculating and analyzing all external loads on the aircraft
  • Ensuring that the aircraft remains free of flutter and other aeroelastic phenomena
  • Deliver aircraft loads and aeroelastics documentation and data
  • Provide recommendations for aircraft design, development processes, new technologies, and in-service operations
  • Apply all relevant quality assurance processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical engineering or related disciplines
  • Flight mechanics
  • Basic Aerodynamics
  • Structural dynamics
  • Control theory
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, Python are a plus
  • Teamwork (high priority!)
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills, self-development
  • Problem-solving orientation
  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity

  • Responsible for providing clear documentation of loads assumptions and methods to generate traceable and repeatable analyses
  • Support wind tunnel and flight test planning and execution in the areas of propeller loads, aeroelasticity, and aeromechanics, including test plan development, instrumentation and data acquisition definition, test monitoring and execution, data analysis and interpretation, and test report writing
  • Participate in loads means and methods of compliance discussions with the FAA
  • Support preparation of certification test plans
