Justteachers are recruiting for a LKS2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Salford 7, on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible. This would be booked under our temp to perm offer. Nestled in the heart of Salford Quays the school is a welcoming primary school committed to nurturing every child’s potential. They pride themselves on creating a close-knit, family-like atmosphere where every pupil is known, valued, and supported.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with a small group of SEND leaners outside of class
  • Support pupils across a range of abilities and needs
  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group work
  • Assist in planning and assessing learning activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and a nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • A proactive, flexible, and child-centred approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • Two school-based references
