The Livestock Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the livestock industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services
  • Focus on new market development within the livestock industry
  • Contact sellers within the livestock industry and educate them on our products and services
  • Explain our websites and how to enter their own information
  • Enter their listings for them
  • Handle in-bound and outbound customer calls, and email communications
  • Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry
  • Research the livestock industry and the proper way to list the information on our site
  • Provide feedback from the industry
  • Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve
  • Focus on customer service and sales
  • Assist in the implementation of a variety of tasks
  • Work as a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications
  • Assume other duties as assigned
