Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced and organised Live-out Nanny or Manny to take care of their two boys, both school age, in New York. The family seeks someone who is reliable, energetic and capable of managing the daily rhythm of school age children with confidence and care. A positive attitude and genuine love of working with children are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for all childcare duties for both children
  • Manage school drop offs and pick ups, liaising with teachers as needed
  • Oversee and assist with homework, reading and educational activities
  • Organise age appropriate activities, playdates, and outings
  • Coordinate and manage the children’s schedules, including extracurricular activities and appointments
  • Carry out occasional household errands as needed
  • Plan and prepare nutritious and varied meals for the children
  • Handle cooking, shopping, laundry, ironing, and other household tasks related to the children
  • Maintain tidy and organised children’s spaces, including bedrooms and play areas
  • Support bedtime and morning routines to ensure smooth daily transitions
  • Occasional international travel with the family
  • Occasional proxy parenting if/when the parents travel

Requirements:

  • Qualified professional Nanny/Manny with UHNW/HNW experience
  • Creative, active with a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • A team player with strong organisational skills
  • A passion for food and nutrition and a capable cook
