Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper to join their fully staffed private household in Kensington, London. The property is a beautifully maintained five-storey residence with seven bedrooms, a swimming pool and a private hair salon. The family also spends time in the South of France during the summer months, so occasional travel may be required. The successful applicant will join an established team of housekeepers and must be confident working within high-specification surroundings, caring for fine furnishings, delicate materials, and valuable works of art.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and presentation
Carry out housekeeping duties including deep cleaning, polishing and organisation
Manage laundry and wardrobe care, including delicate fabrics, couture pieces and luxury linens
Support the wider household team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
Assist with travel preparations and packing/unpacking
Uphold strict discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail

Requirements:

A minimum 5 – 6 years’ experience working within private households
Excellent knowledge of specialist cleaning, fabric care and laundry techniques
Confident working around high-value art, antiques, and luxury interiors
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a large team
Fluent English required
Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to family schedules and occasional travel

Nice to have:

A Russian speaker would be highly desirable
