Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Live-out Housekeeper/Family Assistant to clean and oversee the maintenance of three properties, including two large family homes in Marlow, and one smaller property in Central London (to be worked at once a fortnight).

Job Responsibility:

  • Weekly cleaning of Central London properties
  • supervise casual staff before family visits
  • Ensure properties are ready for family occupancy, including preparing linen, towels, and kitchen supplies
  • Check clocks, air conditioning, TV systems, phones, walkie-talkies, and house plants
  • Organise services such as window cleaning, pest control, pool maintenance, and carpet cleaning
  • Respond promptly to family messages and email requests
  • Handle shopping, prescriptions, and general errands
  • Meet & greet family at the airport
  • liaise with security on access arrangements
  • Arrange doctor/dentist visits and activities for children
  • Ensure smooth guest arrangements and oversee contractors when family is in residence
  • Manage parcels, import duties, and post for the family
  • Maintain simple accounts for expenses and assist with contractor arrangements
  • Collaborate with other estate employees on maintenance tasks
  • Notify security about visitor access
  • Control budgets and ensure maintenance contracts adhere to approved limits
  • Manage personal and property expenses as required
  • Flexibility is required for reasonable tasks that may arise

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position
  • UK Passport/Right to work in the UK
