Job Description

As a in Miniclip Netherlands you will be part of the Product Team and work across our game portfolio to set up and boost different Live Ops initiatives with an aim to increase player engagement and monetisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Design new Live Ops experiences (e.g. in-game thematic player packs, missions, challenges,…) that deliver strong player engagement, retention and monetization, collaborating cross discipline to meet the desired goals
  • Configure the designed Live Ops experiences in the tools, leveraging learnings between the different games
  • Iterate current Live Ops based on analytics data to push the results to the next level
  • Integrate the new Live Ops initiatives seamlessly with the core elements of each game economy, design and progression
  • Collaborate across Product, Dev, Monetisation and Live Ops teams to push the limits of the development of continuous Live Ops in a smart and efficient way, building and expanding on new ideas and smart usage of older content
  • Participate as a key member of the Live Ops team for our live titles, owning and creating high-impact content updates for our existing portfolio of games
  • Present and articulate your designs across the team and with stakeholders, upholding the design vision, limitations and rationale in a clear manner

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience of Live Ops and Event design on mobile, preferably on sports titles
  • Strong knowledge of the mobile game space, with exceptional understanding of current game design techniques to deliver excellent engagement, retention, and monetisation
  • Experience across the product life-cycle, from prototyping, through production, to updating a live free-to-play game
  • Understanding of, and experience with reviewing game analytics, developing insights based on data to make better informed design decisions
  • True passion for video games, knowledge of latest titles and current trends in the industry, especially regarding online components and Live Ops
  • Drive, initiative and proactivity with the ability to self-manage effectively with a highly organised approach

Nice to have

Preferable high interest in sports, football in particular
