Job Description:

This is your opportunity to work with an eclectic group of veteran game makers, on one of the greatest action games on mobile. In this role, you will incept, deliberate and tinker on innovative live ops events that must surprise and entertain our players. Simultaneously, you will always re-evaluate and find ways to optimize our events framework, so it can be a platform to provide entertainment to our most dedicated players AND our new and returning players. Delivering fantastic player experiences and maximizing commercial success is a formula for you to balance, as you design for players to spend out of love, and when doing so, improves their experience long term.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver impactful live ops features and events from concept to live, in a small cross-functional team
  • Think holistically about the game and proactively coordinate with the broader Brawl team
  • Generate creative design ideas for new live ops, events and monetization mechanics
  • Drive the day-to-day execution of the live ops schedule, owning targets and the overall success live events
  • Gather raw ideas broadly and craft them into actionable design documents
  • Iterate on designs collaboratively, evolve them, over and over again
  • Quickly deconstruct key games and market shifts, and share insights with the team
  • Unblock and drive execution forward
  • Give input on new Brawlers and game modes
  • Cultivate a culture of inclusiveness, where good ideas can come from anyone

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in live-service, free-to-play mobile games
  • Demonstrated track record in running and growing a live free-to-play game
  • Experienced and comfortable with live ops tooling
  • Deep understanding of engagement drivers in live service games
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply them to your work
  • Passion for competitive games and current trends in their live operation
  • Relentless problem solver, who is also not afraid to ask for help
  • Sharp communicator who frames conflicting perspectives and trade-offs succinctly
  • Patient collaborator, who listens first, builds others up and always offers help
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and high autonomy in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Deep knowledge of Brawl Stars
  • Experience shipping major games features or games
  • UX & UI design experience
  • An inkling of humour
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages
