Job Description:

Live-in Junior Sous/Sous Chef role at The Curious Pig Pub & Hotel. Barons success has been firmly built through its people. Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Head Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Strive to ensure the kitchen is run professionally, profitably, efficiently and compliantly
  • Ensure kitchen team delivers meals to tight specifications

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years previous experience of working in high-volume kitchens
  • Ability to deliver dishes to company time standards and specification
  • Experience managing teams of up to 7 chefs/KPs on service
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Qualities to lead and motivate the team
  • Solid commitment to mentoring and developing teams
  • Keen eye for detail
